Welcome to Marcia Kortas fine art

I am an artist living on the Central Coast of California and painting from my home studio. I paint in a number of different mediums and always choose subjects that I feel are beautiful, inspiring or as in the case of my abstracts totally intuitive. My work is inspired by nature. It is colorful, serene, and some even say ethereal. Collectors have said my art has brought upliftment and joy to their homes. My intention when I paint is to touch that place deep within myself and evoke a connection with nature, animals and spirit both for myself and all who view my art. It is somewhat like bringing a little of the outside in and the inside out. It is my hope that you will join me on this artistic journey!
